Join our dynamic teams designing and developing next-gen energy technologies and help drive a sustainable future!

This role at Enphase requires working onsite 3 days a week, with plans to transition back to a full 5 day in office schedule over time.

About the role:

Enphase is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 5–8 years of experience building enterprise applications using Java and Angular. In this role, you will design, build, and own web applications and APIs that support Enphase's business operations, including finance and supply chain, and contribute enhancements and fixes to our mobile applications. You will contribute to design discussions and mentor junior developers while working in an AI-first engineering model, using AI coding assistants and agentic tools to accelerate development, analysis, testing, and bug fixing, and owning the quality, security, and maintainability of everything you ship. As a member of the IT team, you will work closely with business users, product owners, and engineers across multiple teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular
  • Contribute to architecture and design discussions for enterprise-grade solutions and own the technical design of the modules you deliver
  • Build microservices and RESTful APIs documented with OpenAPI/Swagger, with clean contracts, versioning, and robust error handling
  • Develop responsive, accessible, and performant Angular UIs using TypeScript, RxJS, and reusable components, with a strong focus on user experience
  • Implement enhancements and fixes to mobile applications (Android/iOS, native or hybrid) and coordinate releases with QA and the mobile team
  • Use AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as part of daily work to accelerate code generation, refactoring, unit test creation, and documentation
  • Leverage AI tools to analyze logs, stack traces, and unfamiliar codebases to speed up root cause analysis and bug fixing
  • Apply AI-assisted analysis to requirements, data, and production issues to shorten the path from problem to solution
  • Critically review, validate, and test AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance before it is merged
  • Share prompts, reusable workflows, and practices that help the team get more out of AI-assisted engineering
  • Design data models and write efficient queries across relational (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
  • Integrate applications with enterprise systems such as ERP and with third-party services via REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and middleware
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine/Karma, Cypress/Playwright) and maintain strong code coverage
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerize services with Docker and Kubernetes, and deploy to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security, following OWASP practices and OAuth 2.0/SSO standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and help raise the team's engineering standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, providing estimates and coordinating dependencies across multiple teams
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and runbooks
  • Adhere to SDLC and change management processes, including controls required in a SOX-regulated environment

  • Must have graduated from an institution featured in the Top 100 NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) rankings at the time of graduation (Overall / Engineering category)
  • 5–8 years of full stack software development experience, including 4+ years with Angular
  • Front End: Angular (12+ preferred), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, RxJS

  • Ability to give AI tools clear context and instructions, and the engineering judgment to recognize when AI output is wrong
  • DevOps: CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes
  • Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP
